COVID 19 Update Were Still Here
COVID 19 Update August 13, 2021
Acting Boston Mayor Kim Janey said Thursday that all city employees — from teachers to police to parking office clerks — would need to be vaccinated or undergo regular testing. So did two major museums and large local employers. Our employees continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, city, state, local, and client site guidelines.
COVID 19 Update July 30, 2021 – Mass. updates mask-wearing guidance for certain vaccinated people — and for the schools
In light of new federal mask guidelines earlier this week, Massachusetts public health and education leaders announced today changes to the state’s mask-wearing recommendations.
First: Fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts are now recommended to wear masks indoors if they:
- Have a weakened immune system
- Are at increased risk for severe disease because of age or an underlying medical condition
- Live with someone who has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated
Unlike the CDC guidance, Massachusetts is not recommending mask-wearing based on the transmission rates of your county.
COVID 19 Update Were Still Here – As of May 29, all remaining COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
Mask requirements remain in place in certain spaces. The State of Emergency ended on June 15.
